It’s been a MINUTE since I made a Get Well With Adele! I’ve been in the process of creating some branding for Settling Inn and am also working on a very special offer for my coaching business, so some things have been on the back burner. My friend recommended an episode of Healthier Together a few months ago and I’ve loved practically every episode ever since. I hadn’t heard of Tinx prior to this episode but now I can’t wait to get ahold of her book. This episode was a great refresher course on “authenticity.”

I’ve admittedly tried to read this book so many times, and I finally committed to finishing it this month. The Universe Has Your Back is a reminder that while, yes, it’s easy to get lost in the fear of the unknown, knowing the Universe is there to support you can make you feel that much better. A few chapters also include meditations and mantras that you can do to feel a sense of spiritual connection and inner peace.

4-4-8 BREATHWORK TECHNIQUE
This breathwork technique is used to help you focus and de-stress. Sometimes I like to do this right before bed because the longer exhale helps the nervous system to regulate and your body temperature to drop, making it easier to fall asleep. It's also good to do whenever you are anxious and need to drop back into your body.
How It Works:
Inhale through your nose for 4 counts, filling your lungs fully.
Hold your breath for 4 counts.
Exhale through pursed lips for 8 full counts, making almost a "woosh" sound.
Repeat 3 times.
